NY Islanders Bring Smiles to Pediatric Patients at Good Samaritan Hospital
December 15th, 2015
Three-year-oldJesse Alston, from Babylon, met NY Islander players (left to right): Frans Nielsen, Brian Strait and Eric Boulton during their recent visit to Good Samaritan Hospital’s pediatric unit. Jesse ran to meet them in the hallway, giving them all a hug. Later that day, during a visit with his sister, he told her all about what he learned about hockey. He also shared the new Thomas the Train toy he received from the players. The professional hockey players went from room to room visiting with patients and leaving toys they personally selected.
