Michael Virgilio Appointed to the Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation Board
Mr. Virgilio has strong ties with the hospital, where his children were born, and with the community. He has lived in West Islip his entire life and is now raising a family here.
“I joined the Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation board because I believe in the hospital’s mission,” said Mr. Virgilio. “Good Samaritan is the cornerstone of the community and I am honored to help raise awareness of its advancements in health care over the years.”
The Foundation was established to assist Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in cultivating and managing charitable gifts, financial stewardship and developing both short- and long-term strategic goals. Under the leadership of its own Board of Trustees, the Foundation serves as the focal point and direct recipient of philanthropic support for the not-for-profit medical center.
