Learn to Open your Heart to Health with Good Samaritan Hospital

January 14th, 2014

Good Samaritan Hospital is hosting a Free Open Your Heart to Health event at the Westfield South Shore Mall near the Lord &Taylor entrance on Saturday, February 8, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Navigate your way through a MEGA inflatable heart. Bring your questions about heart disease to our expert cardiologists and open heart surgeons. Meet registered dietitians, technologists, nurses and other professionals. Blood pressure and glucose screenings will be available. Bring the family and enjoy a day of fun, music, giveaways and hands-on activities.

Good Samaritan Hospital’s cardiovascular services include superior, comprehensive care. Good Samaritan was one of the first community hospitals in Suffolk County to perform primary angioplasty to swiftly open blocked arteries during a heart attack and was the first in the county to offer the combination of primary elective angioplasty and a cardiac rehabilitation program. Patients across Long Island turn to Good Samaritan for a variety of cardiology services such as angioplasty, temporary pacemaker insertion, electrophysiology studies, stress testing, EKG testing and more.
