Good Samaritan Names New Director of Public Affairs and Marketing
West Islip, N.Y. (Nov. 17, 2016) – Justin Jaycon was recently promoted to Director of Public Affairs and Marketing at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center. Previously, he was Assistant Director in the department and has also served as Marketing Manager. Prior to that, Jaycon worked for South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside.
His responsibilities are to promote all aspects of the hospital and its services, while creating marketing, public relations and community health strategies in alignment with hospital strategic plans and goals based on current market trends. He will also assist with marketing initiatives for the hospital system, Catholic Health Services. During his tenure at Good Samaritan, Jaycon has won numerous advertising awards and coordinated several special events. He recently served as the Project Manager for Race Medicine at the Catholic Health Services Suffolk County Marathon in Patchogue.
Jaycon earned a bachelor’s in politics, philosophy and law from SUNY Binghamton and a master’s in business administration from St. Joseph’s College. He has an extensive background in marketing, public relations, physician relations, web development and graphic design. He resides in Sayville.
