Catholic Health Services Names Daniel DeBarba CFO
Catholic Health Services (CHS) has appointed Daniel J. DeBarba, Jr., executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO). With oversight of all areas of finance, information systems and supply chain, DeBarba has extensive experience in leadership roles within the hospital industry.
Prior to joining CHS, he was executive vice president of Western Connecticut Health Network and president of Danbury and New Milford hospitals. Previously, he was president and CEO of Norwalk Hospital, which affiliated with Western Connecticut Health Network in 2014. In the past, he held various management positions at Saint Mary’s Hospital, Yale New Haven Health and PricewaterhouseCoopers, all in Connecticut.
DeBarba earned a master of science degree in professional accounting from the University of Hartford, after being awarded a bachelor of arts degree in English from the University of Connecticut. He is a certified public accountant and member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, Healthcare Financial Management Association and American Institute of Certified Public Accounts.
Debarba lives in Orange, Conneticut with his wife and three children.
