Emergency Medicine Residency - Research

The Emergency Medicine Residency Department is committed to supporting research. Our research program will assist interested residents in presenting at national meetings and publishing in emergency medicine journals. Active participation in research is an essential component in developing resident education, and we expect our residents to participate in ongoing departmental projects. Basic research skills allow residents to critically evaluate the results literature, and use this knowledge in their clinical practice.

Research design, statistical concepts, data analysis techniques and participation in the journal club are part of the core cirriculum. We encourage and promote residents to become participants in the academic growth of emergency medicine.
