Please call us at (631) 376-3717 with any questions you may have after you review our wish list. We recommend that you also call and schedule an appointment to donate during busy holiday seasons. Volunteering

The Child Life Program accepts applications to volunteer as a playroom assistant through the volunteer office at (631) 376-4121. Volunteers in Child Life need to be 17 years or older. While there are a few evening and weekend opportunities, most volunteer sessions are available between the hours of 9:30 am and noon or 1:30 pm and 4:00 pm on weekdays.

Volunteer ideas for kids and younger teens

Many school and scouting groups routinely ask how they might help hospitalized children. School, community or neighborhood drives are excellent ways for young volunteers to do their part to help hospitalized children.
