Good Samaritan Hospital Hosts Winning Event


The Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation held another winning event, “Night at the Races” raising more than $65,000 to benefit its cardiac services. Major sponsors included $25,000 from the Guilds of Good Samaritan Hospital and $15,000 from the West Islip Breast Cancer Coalition. Additional sponsors included owner of Trés Palm restaurant in Babylon, Danny O’Donnell, Members Handicapped Children’s Fund, Inc and Progressive Emergency Physicians Management, LLC. Guests were welcomed to a Kentucky Derby themed nightclub where they had the opportunity to play various casino games, win prizes and enter a “Best in Show” hat contest.
