Our Emergency Medicine Residency Program is committed to meeting the needs of our patients while providing our residents with a balanced approach to professional and personal well-being. It is our policy to teach Emergency Medicine through experience in an emergency department under the supervision of board certified or eligible emergency medicine physicians. To afford a diversified and well-rounded experience the program has affiliation with the NYC Poison Control Center and two Area Trauma Centers (Level-I) Trauma Centers for trauma, surgical emergency medicine and critical care rotations. Graduated clinical, academic, administrative, and research skills are developed and cultivated, so that graduates will be prepared to become leaders and mentors in their field.
